Our projects

Improving animal lives, every way we can

To fulfil our organizational objectives, and ultimately our mission and vision, TOLFA has four permanent projects that it runs simultaneously.  Our projects have been carefully thought out to ensure that we as an organisation overcome all of the different issues that animals in our area, are facing.

With the exception of our Animal welfare education project, all of our projects have been working since our inception in 2005.  It is through the kindness and generosity of our donors and with support from the government that we are able to run our projects, 7 days a week, 365 day a year.

Rescue and care

For the millions of ownerless animals that live on our streets, life can be tough. TOLFA is making their lives a little bit easier by providing rescue, treatment and love when they are sick or injured.

ABC & anti rabies

Responding to India’s highest death rate in the world from rabies, TOLFA is helping to protect both the animal and human population by catching street dogs for sterilisation and rabies vaccination.

Five people sit around two dogs. The dogs are sitting in two of the people’s laps, and they are cuddling the dogs whilst smiling.

Animal welfare education

Education is the only way to effect positive long term change and there are many changes that need to be made if humans and animals are to live harmoniously together.

Rural animal health

Although TOLFA does not promote animals to be used in the production of foodstuffs for humans, we do believe that every animal deserves to receive veterinary care when they need it.
